A deconstructed tailored jacket built around the language of Slum Gentry — where elegance meets disruption. Cut in linen with contrasting velvet panel inserts, this piece balances soft structure with deliberate irregularity. Printed artwork panels reference archival ornament, decay, & layered histories, creating a garment that feels somewhere between tailoring, artefact, & urban relic. The silhouette uses a classic tailored block, then shifts it off-centre through asymmetrical panel placement, uneven detailing, & exaggerated extra-long sleeves designed to remain gathered & crunched naturally at the arm. Inside, the jacket is finished with a custom printed cotton lining in four different panels & with Strangely 430 detailing, while custom buttons complete the piece a long with liberal layers of hand-stitched haircloth giving it its structure & weight. No two garments are exactly alike due to fabric placement & print positioning. Bespoke made to order product. Different colours & wool fabric options to follow. Part tailoring. Part armour. Part story.
