The LV Crack House T-Shirt forms part of Post No Bills, an ongoing project built from graffiti, found imagery, street photography, posters & fragments of urban visual culture.
The repeating floral monogram has been redrawn with loose, uneven lines rather than reproduced with commercial precision. Drips, interruptions and heavy black marks break apart the familiar luxury pattern, making the surface feel closer to a painted wall, damaged poster or marked-up train carriage.
The composition references Jordan J. Weber’s Louis Vuitton Crack House, a work that relocates the language of luxury into an environment shaped by inequality, abandonment & survival.
The handwritten LV element has a separate origin. It was taken from an actual piece of graffiti photographed on a North London Underground train & is the tag of a graffiti artist who works under the name LV.
These different sources are deliberately layered together. The result is not presented as luxury branding, but as a study of how images are borrowed, damaged, repeated & given new meanings as they pass between fashion, art & the street.
Each shirt becomes a wearable part of the Post No Bills archive.
